Kindergarten
Beautiful Savior offers a Christ-centered, activity-based approach to education. The goal is to provide learning experiences that assist parents in nurturing the spiritual, intellectual, physical, emotional, and social development of their children. We believe this goal can be reached when children learn by doing – by hands-on, active learning experiences that are developmentally appropriate for children. We also believe children develop best when all experiences occur in an atmosphere of Christian love, care, trust and respect.
Students enrolled in Kindergarten at Beautiful Savior will have active learning experiences that will help them develop critical thinking skills.
Kindergarten students must be 5 yrs old on or before September 30th of the enrolling school year. Daily activities include but are not limited to:
-Bible Stories
-Whole and Small Group Instruction
-Language Experiences
-Learning Centers (primarily in math and reading)
-Read-Alouds (story time)
-Outdoor and/or Large Motor Play
We encourage Christian attitudes, creative and critical thinking, a love of learning, and building the child’s self-esteem as a redeemed child of God.

Hello and welcome! I have been serving in the school’s ministry since 2022. I graduated from Martin Luther College in May of 2022 and was assigned here to share the gospel message with God’s little lambs and their families. It has been such a blessing getting to know and working with the students and families, both old and new, here at Beautiful Savior!
Becoming a teacher has really inspired me to rediscover my love of learning, and much of that love of learning comes from amazing role models in the great teachers I had growing up. I also have a strong passion for playing music, especially when using it to serve God’s people in both the church and school. I love preparing songs with the students to sing for the congregation and show their love for Jesus through their God-given abilities. I hope to help the students develop and continue to love learning, especially about what their Savior has done for them. Kindergarten is such an amazing time in a child’s life, and the leaps and bounds in which the students grow in their God-given abilities are awesome to see!
